Shirts for Hip Geeks and Nerds!

Until now there really weren't any clothes that celebrate our artistry and skill as Makers & 3D Printers (and the couple of us who love Marvin :) ). We have awesome skills and dedication. We need a way to show it off. So, I inspired a crack team of designers (with a rousing speech), and here is the awesome beginning. I make a couple dollars off of each shirt, and I'm going to donate 50% of what I make to a charity that teaches making to children who are less-privileged – spreading the joy and fulfillment we gain through making is what it is really all about. Grab a few for yourself or the maker in your life. I'm told they make great holiday gifts :)

Check them out and let me know if there's a design that you'd like to see that isn't available and I'll get the team right on making it!

Lamp!

The right lighting creates a mood and a center of focus in a room. This high-style retro-futrist lamp is beautiful to behold and glows with a luminous elegance that people can't take their eyes off of. I was frankly amazed when I built the first prototype.

This dimmable LED based lamp goes from daytime-bright to hushed night-light. To be hand-cast in hollow porcelain and high-fired to an exquisite matte-smooth sintered white surface. It is not glazed because it needs no glaze.

It is both amazingly elegant and brings a playful hint of the space-age to any decor.  Prototyped over the last year using 3D printing technology, I am now ready to take this into limited production.  Sign-up, get notified first when the limited Kickstarter campaign begins. No obligation to buy.  (I will never contact you about anything other than the Marvin Lamp!).

Ring!

Marvin is so special to Amy and I – so he had to have a place at our engagment. I got down on one knee, and presented Amy with this Marvin ring. As Amy tells it on Facebook "I did it right." This one is cast from silver, and if you look closely you will see the little prongs that hold his feet in place – they are my favorite part. I love you Amy, and of course I have Marvin to thank for keeping us close.
